Lorrie has 30 years experience as a technologist and is a licensed Business Broker (FL LIC #BK3021838). As a single mother to her four sons, Lorrie owned and operated a successful IT consultancy in the New York City area that provided project management, database design and her own custom, Agile/SDLC-like software and systems services for Verizon, AIG, IBM, the City of New York, the State of South Carolina and a number of other public and private sector organizations.

Lorrie has experience in the following roles in the publishing industry: managing editor, writer, editor, account executive, webmaster and production for both online and print media.
